INDIANAPOLIS – Kentucky is hoping its second home will give it a home-court advantage in Tuesday night’s State Farm Champions Classic.
The doubleheader features No. 4 Duke and No. 18 Michigan State in the opener, followed by the top-ranked Wildcats and No. 5 Kansas in the nightcap. All four teams won season-openers Friday night, and Duke followed that with a second straight win Saturday night.
Some are billing the Classic as a potential Final Four preview at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, just a short walk away from where the actual Final Four will be played in April.
But nobody has more at stake than the Wildcats, who have made Indy a regular stop over the years.
